RTI is a process of systematic assistance for academic and behavioral challenges that is based on students’ needs. Centinela Valley Union High School District considers Lloyde to be a Tier III intervention for the district as a whole. That said, within Lloyde, we also have three levels of interventions to ensure all students can be successful. The RTI program at Lloyde is monitored by an RTI team consisting of the Principal, Counselor, Project Facilitator, DIS Coordinator, SPED Department Head, and ELD Coordinator. They meet on a bi-monthly basis to identify students for interventions, and to monitor students receiving Tier II & III supports. At Lloyde, each level of RTI addresses our focus issues of academics, attendance, and student behavior.
