Después de configurar su cuenta, podrá monitorear el progreso académico de su hijo/a en cada uno de sus cursos de Canvas. Puede ver las fechas de vencimiento de las tareas de su hijo, anuncios y otro contenido del curso. Su hijo/a puede agregarlo para que se convierta en un observador y esto le permitirá participar también en los estudios académicos de su hijo/a durante este tiempo de aprendizaje a distancia. Anime a su hijo a completar todas las tareas de Canvas y comunicarse con los maestros cuando necesiten apoyo adicional.
This tutorial includes step-by-step instructions for observing Canvas courses. After setting up your account you will be able to monitor your child's academic progress in each of their Canvas courses. You can see your child's assignment due dates, announcements, and other course content. Your child can add you to become an observer and this will allow you to also engage in your child's academics during this time of distance learning. Encourage your child to complete all Canvas assignments and reach out to teachers when they need additional support.

Students will be working from home on their Chromebooks via Canvas and APEX. Teachers will hold office hours every day via Google Meet to support your learning needs. Quarter grades will still be finalized at 3 pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Spring Break will not change and runs from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, April 5. Dismissal Days are currently scheduled to end on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Please check back regularly for updates.

We have partnered with U-PIC insurance to offer affordable insurance for our families who wish to purchase coverage for their Chromebook. Insurance is NOT mandatory, but we want our families to be aware of the option. All payments and sign up are done through U-PIC's website.
