African American Parent Advisory Council

The African-American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC) is a group of parents that honors and embraces the identity and experiences of Centinela Valley UHSD African-American families, advocates for the cultural acceptance of all, and engages all stakeholders to transform the system to continue to ensure we are providing a high quality education for every student. Please complete the linked survey to share your contact information and participate in this year's meetings. Thanks for completing by October 1, 2021!

Registration Required

As a yearly requirement, we must complete online registration which includes updating emergency contact information and annual permissions. Please follow the link for guidance on completing this process, or call 310-263-3267 should you have any questions.

PBIS GOLD level Implementation

Congratulations, Bulldogs! Our school has been recognized by the California PBIS Coalition for Gold-level implementation of our PBIS program. This is a very prestigious award that is acknowledgement for all the amazing work our students, parents and staff do on a daily basis. Well done!

First Day of School

Our first day of school is Monday, August 16. Class starts at 8:15 am. Be sure to be at campus on time, with a mask and ready to learn! See you soon!

African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC) will be held Wednesday, December 9th at 5:30PM.

Our speaker will be Lt. Robbie Williams from the Hawthorne Police Dept. he will be speaking to our parents on police and youth relations, how to keep our youth safe in the community and lastly, how can we as a parent group support positive relations with law enforcement.
